The Gears were active in Northern California from 1998 until 2001, playing British Invasion-styled Beatlesque pop music. Made up of Golden Shoulders mainstays Adam Kline, Jason Graham, Neal Morgan (with frequent lead guitar assistance from Rich Good), they recorded and released two proper cds, one short one and another one that was even shorter. The Gears' songs have been accurately described as "what Golden Shoulders sounded like back in 1965."
