Today's Golden Shoulders Fun Fact:
On this date in 2016, Golden Shoulders was supposed to play a show with X Lovers and Davia. But then duder from X Lovers got super sick, and those guys had to cancel. With a couple days notice of this possibility, we had lined up the great Jessica Agnew to fill in, in case X Lovers couldn't play. But then, day of the show, Jessica tells us SHE'S sick too. We were flailing around like crazy trying to find another act. This show sold out two weeks earlier, you know, so this was a big deal. And then we remembered that Davia is legit and has a lot of solid songs, and also that we're ''legit'' and have a lot of ''songs,'' so Davia just played a (great) long set, and we played a (...) long set, and I think the audience felt they got what they paid for.
The moral of this story is that the young musicians of Nevada City, California are frail, sickly, and dropping like flies. Thankfully, we haven't fit the ''young musician'' description in years. And Davia's some kind of immortal, unkillable being, or something.

It's 2025 now. That seems so futuristic. Like we should be communicating through computers by now or something.
You can see our tour dates in that little box down there to the right; if we're touring, please come see us and bring a thousand friends. And suggest to your friends who live in towns where you don't live that they come see us too. If we have fun on tours, we'll tour more often. We're simple people that way. Other ways too.
Our latest full-length album is called "Could This Be the End," and it was released on September 13th, 2019. It's got 14 songs, and it's as upbeat and peppy as the title suggests. We hope you like it, on account of how long it took us to make it! Yikes. Ten years between albums, man. Unacceptable.
